Why we do what we we do

Across the country, billions of pounds of food go to waste annually, which is bad for the obvious reason of one in seven Americans being food insecure. But further still, when food goes bad they release VOC's which are bad for the environment and atmosphere. So here at The Good Apple Initiative, we are trying to tackle this problem head-on by donating as much food as possible, heading anywhere from farmers market to stores!
